Core concept
Strategic regions are geographic spaces where location, population, resources, infrastructure, technology, military posture, trade routes and institutions combine to shape influence. A region may matter because of energy, sea lanes, markets, industrial capacity, demographic weight, resource reserves, financial power, climate vulnerability or legal disputes.
FutureWorld should avoid simplistic maps that show only countries. A strategic map should show systems: ports, cables, rail corridors, air routes, alliances, energy pipelines, trade flows, climate exposure, institutions and cities. This report therefore applies the nine key principles already built in the Geopolitics section and turns them into a repeatable method for studying any region.

Map NATO, EU, AU, ASEAN, GCC, SCO, BRICS, G20 and other institutional networks.
Use realism, liberalism, constructivism, sea power, heartland, rimland and geo-economics.
Classify global powers, regional powers, middle powers, resource powers and fragile states.
End with plausible scenarios, early-warning indicators and preparedness pathways.
