From planetary trends to local action, the FWI Climate Evidence Explorer connects live Earth-observation searches with national, subnational and community evidence pathways.
Live Earth Observation
Search Sentinel-2 or Landsat imagery for the current map view. The interface attempts a multi-scene mosaic and automatically falls back to the best available individual scene when necessary. Begin with the Bajaur pilot extent, or select another geography and zoom to a focused area.
Four Intelligence Levels
The architecture is organized by analytical level rather than by one country. Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the first flagship implementation areas, demonstrating how global evidence can be translated into national, provincial, district, watershed and community-level intelligence.

Evidence Translation Pathway
Data and Method
The live viewer searches the Microsoft Planetary Computer STAC catalog and uses its Data API or item TileJSON services to display satellite imagery.
National and international institutional datasets will complement satellite imagery where they provide authoritative statistics, policy context or validated indicators.
Satellite signals must be interpreted with departmental records, project boundaries, community information and field observations wherever available.
Public findings will follow FWI evidence, citation, validation and human-review requirements before being presented as confirmed analysis.
